The 2026 VAUX meeting will be held at Snableazes Range (near Alnwick) over the weekend of 4th & 5th July 2026.

Emailed entries only, to be received no later than Sunday 28th June. Payment of entry fees is by BACS only, in advance: no postal entries or cheques. Directions to the range are included in the entry form. Overnight secure storage of firearms at a local RFD can be arranged – see the entry form for details.
The summary of the meeting is:
The prone course of fire is a double dewar in FIVE classes (yes, five – we are introducing classes X and D this year) with the top 10 regardless of class invited to compete in the Final of the Vaux championship on the Sunday afternoon. There are concurrent competitions for Juniors, Veterans (both free to enter) Teams of 3 and Pairs.
1st prize in the Aggregate competition is £25 in each class. The winner of the Vaux will receive a prize of £100, with the top competitor resident in the C&NTSA region also receiving £100.
The Benchrest competition, to be shot on the Saturday only, is also a double dewar, in three classes, along with both Pairs and Team competitions. Benchrest targets will be used, with Xs being counted. The winner of each class will receive a prize of £25.
